3ds & max model loading instructions

3DS MODEL INFORMATION
All iw43d models are built to scale with extremely efficient mesh; are fully texture mapped with all materials included; and come in standard zip file format. Before opening your model zip file, it is recommended that you first create a destination folder in your preferred drive location. You can then open your zip file and extract all archived contents into this folder. To open the model file,
simply open your max program and bring the 3ds/max file into max. Just be sure to set all map paths FIRST so that the model file
loads properly with all required texture maps applied.

BONES AND 3DS MAX HUMAN MODELS  
All i w43d high poly human models come with a full set of hierarchically linked bones (BonesPro2 by Digimation) with all influences set. Model file includes a sample walk cycle as a test animation. Some of these models may include additional props and/or preset poses.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR BONES INCLUDED WITH ALL IW43D HIGH POLY HUMAN MODELS
1.  Use the "Attach" function when joining a body part with a clothing selection you'd like to use.
2.  Hide all objects you do not wish to use with your model.
3.  Enter Bones Pro and create a Bones icon.
4.  Select Bones/Assign and choose the objects that compose the skeleton of the model.
5.  Use "Bound Mode" to select the skin and clothing of the model.
6.  If you do not wish to use BonesPro, simply hide or delete the bones.
